Investing in the Future

This month we are celebrating a very special anniversary. It’s been fifteen years since we launched a partnership with Warwickshire College and initiated our UK dealer apprenticeship scheme.

Massey Ferguson and its sister brand dealerships throughout the UK take on young people who receive 36 weeks training spread over three and a bit years. The training takes place at Warwickshire College’s Moreton Morrell campus. All apprentices attend the college as part of AGCO’s dealer apprenticeship scheme and stay on-site in the college’s own residential accommodation.

Two levels of land-based engineering are offered by our dealers, an intermediate level (L2) and then after this, and an advanced level course, (L3). Time is also spent in the college’s workshops, within the dealership and also at the Abbey Park facility in Stoneleigh.

Once the training is complete and certification achieved the students will enjoy a well-earned visit to the Massey Ferguson Manufacturing facility in Beauvais.

Massey Ferguson and its dealers are dedicated to the growth, training and education of young people. More and more people are needed within the agricultural industry and dealer technicians are no exception, in fact they are a vital part of the business. The excellent relationship between customer and dealer technician ensures years of trust, support and good service.

We’ll be following our newest recruits as they start their journey with us next month so keep an eye out for our posts!
