Farmers benefit as Agrispace hosts first conferences

Since officially opening in late April, Massey Ferguson’s state-of-the-art Agrispace customer experience centre has quickly proved popular with customers and dealers, as it cements the company strategy of putting farmers first.

The Agrispace building includes a purpose-designed conference centre, and this was used for the first time in May, hosting two events. Both featured presentations by agricultural industry specialists and were designed to help farmers gain more knowledge and understanding of issues and solutions currently facing their businesses.

Understanding farming challenges

The first conference, on May 20th and 21st, was led by Thierry Pouch, Head of Economic Studies and Forecasting at Chambre d’Agriculture France. Titled ‘Shocks, Crises, Tensions: French Agriculture in Radical Uncertainty,’ the 1.5-hour sessions attracted nearly 250 farmers from within a 50 km radius of Beauvais. Attendees not only gained valuable insights into some of the challenges currently facing French agriculture, but they also enjoyed an opportunity to tour the Massey Ferguson factory.

Maximising crop potential

The second conference, organised in partnership with animal and plant nutrition expert, Timac Agro, took place on May 27th and June 13th. This event focused on the critical topic of phosphate nutrition efficiency in crops and drew over 270 farmers primarily from Northern France. Participants were treated to a comprehensive tour of both the Massey Ferguson factory and Timac Agro's trial plots located at UniLaSalle's farm, nearby.

These conferences, which are just the first two of many that will be held at the Agrispace venue, underscore Massey Ferguson's unwavering commitment to serving the agricultural community and highlight the proactive efforts of the Customer Experience department in organising events that resonate with farmers' interests. Their success not only reflects MF ‘farmer first’ approach but also its ability to foster meaningful discussions and provide practical solutions to the farming sector.

Massey Ferguson brand is respected globally for its ability to manufacture and supply straightforward products which are dependable and reliable. The new Agrispace complements these, providing additional services in terms of support and knowledge which benefit other aspects of farmers’ businesses too.
