MF scoops China’s top machinery prize

Massey Ferguson’s award-winning success continues on a global scale. Latest recognition comes from Tianjin, China where the MF 7624 tractor won the prize of prizes – the ‘Comprehensive Golden Award’ – in the country’s annual Agricultural Machinery Top50 Awards.

Not only that but the MF 1844N small square baler also landed the ‘Market Leading Award’.

Run under the auspices of the China Association of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers (CAAMM), the Chinese Society for Agricultural Machinery (CSAM) and Farm Machinery magazine, the awards attracted 900 product entries representing 227 companies.

Products compete in four categories: the Technology Innovation Award, Market Leading Award, Application Contribution Award, and the newest award – the China Ag Machinery Top 50 Comprehensive Golden Award. This is the top prize to honour those who are achieving outstanding performance in all three of the other award categories.

“The MF 7624 and MF 1844N beat a huge field of entrants to achieve these prestigious prizes. The awards are yet further affirmation that, with our comprehensive range of machinery, Massey Ferguson is satisfying the needs of farmers globally,” said Campbell Scott, Massey Ferguson Director Sales Engineering and Brand Development. “Agricultural mechanisation in China is moving ahead strongly and with our straightforward, dependable equipment, we are fully geared-up to support the development of farming there.”
