MF gets into the groove at Somerset festival

A heady mix of food, drink and music is promised at the Somerset Cheese, Cider and Moozik Fest 20-22 June at Cricketer Farm, Nether Stowey.

Massey Ferguson is a key partner of this vibrant weekend festival which, this year, is raising money for the Somerset Levels Relief Fund to help dairy farmers, producers and Somerset businesses recover from the recent floods. MF machines are providing the power for the exciting Tractor Safaris on the Saturday morning.

In a packed programme of events, visitors will have the chance to enjoy Somerset’s finest nibbles and tipples including 30 different varieties of local cheese matched by over 30 different Somerset ciders. Among the many attractions are the Cheese and Cider Steam Express aboard the West Somerset Steam Railway, BBQ and Campfire Feast, cheese and cider-making lessons, the Cheeky Cow Children’s Corner, Farmers Market and Craft Fair. An international line-up of bands includes Sound of Sirens (Voted Best Acoustic Act at the 2103 South West Music Awards), Willie and The Bandits, The Mangled Wurzels (Scrumpy and Western), Rodney Branigan and Tim Snider, The Britpop Collective and Joey the Lips.

“This is set to be a fantastically fun celebration of British produce and is a great reminder that supporting local farmers is crucial, especially in times of hardship,” says Massey Ferguson’s Lindsay Haddon. “We’re thrilled to be part of it.”
