Chandlers (Farm Equipment) Ltd. held an opening show for their new depot at Lutterworth in Leicestershire on Thursday 7th & Friday 8th March.

There was an excellent attendance from the local farming community who had come along to meet Chandlers new sales, parts and service team, and check out the special offers available from Chandlers suppliers on the day.

Chandlers, established in 1935 and based previously at 5 depots across Lincolnshire are long standing Massey Ferguson and latterly Fendt and Challenger dealers, who have recently been appointed as dealers for Massey Ferguson, Fendt and Challenger in the Lutterworth area, expanding their existing AGCO territory considerably to the west and covering a larger area of grassland and mixed farming.

From the positive comments received on the day from both the customers and suppliers it appeared as though they were pleased at the arrival of Chandlers in the territory.

Commenting on the expansion, Agricultural Sales Manager for Chandlers Gavin Pell said “We were genuinely delighted with the attendance on the two show days, which I am sure was greatly assisted by the rain that had made land work on Thursday and Friday impossible ! or I am sure that everyone would have been too busy with the amount of work facing most farmers following the poor autumn and winter”
