Massey Ferguson’s new flagship rake, the MF RK 1404 TRC-PRO, which offers a working width up to 14m, is developed to meet the needs of modern, large-scale farming operations and contractors.

Engineered to deliver optimum performance, it’s designed specifically to make well-formed swaths ahead of high output forage harvesters and large square balers.

With a hydraulically adjustable working width from 11.5m to 14m, it is the new flagship for the Massey Ferguson MF RK rake range, offering state-of-the art proCONNECT ISOBUS control, using Massey Ferguson’s C1000, 7in touch-screen or a compatible tractor terminal.

The rake is built on a new strong, robust central tubular frame, which provides compact transport dimensions, folding to less than 4m high and 3m wide for transport.

Designed for hard work in heavy crops, the rotors are equipped with strong, maintenance-free arms. Tandem axles on the rear rotors offer excellent ground following, with crop gathering further enhanced by an extra, fifth double tine.

The front rotors are supported on spring suspension, enabling them to smoothly follow ground contours and ride over any obstructions.

Straightforward on-screen ISOBUS control eases operation. Using the ISO-terminal, operators can lift all four rotors, adjust the working and swath width and the height of the individual rotors as well as set five levels for the headland lifting sequence.

Most of the functions can be pre-programmed into a control joystick, which makes it convenient to operate on long working days.
