MF 5709 - Finalist in Tractor of the Year awards

The brand-new MF 5709 was a finalist in the coveted Tractor of the Year awards presented at Germany’s Agritechnica Show.

Competing in the Best Utility category, the 95hp MF 5709 with Dyna-4 transmission joins the 85hp MF 5708 Dyna-4 as one of two new three-cylinder models just launched as part of the ground-breaking MF 5700 Global Series. Both machines come with the renowned Dyna-4 transmission as standard plus the option of cab suspension.

With their new equipment, they offer more choice and a higher specification for those looking for a modern, rugged 85hp to 95hp hard-working tractor. They will appeal to a wide range of farmers looking for extra performance and versatility – particularly for field operations. The new features, along with the recently introduced Visio Roof option, further enhance their loader credentials. The well-proven Dyna-4, with four on-the-move changes, adds another dimension and class-leading control. A ‘creep’ speed is an option, while extra sophistication comes from optional AutoDrive and optional brake-to-neutral facility.

“We’re delighted that the MF 5709 was among the finalists in these prestigious awards and it is further affirmation that our Global Series range has become an important and exciting part of our full line-up of tractors giving customers a huge choice of specification,” says Campbell Scott, Massey Ferguson Director Marketing Services.

Tractor of the Year is an annual international award judged by a group of independent agricultural machinery journalists representing 23 countries.
