The Young British Farming Awards 2026 are now open for entries and Massey Ferguson will sponsor the Farmers Guardian Young Farming Hero award this year

Massey Ferguson will sponsor the Farmers Guardian Young Farming Hero award at the Young British Farming Awards 2026, which are now open for entries from the next generation of farmers.

Lindsay Haddon, Advertising and Sales Promotion Manager – Massey Ferguson UK, IRL and Middle East, says the award resonates with many people at MF.

“We have a young team at Massey Ferguson and the enthusiasm and drive they bring to their work is infectious. Having the opportunity to encourage and promote new entrants into the industry and celebrate achievements of those already forming the next generation, shows that farming, and its associated industries, have a bright future.”

This year there are 12 award categories, increased from eight last year. Now in its third year, the event has continued to grow and has been supported by well-known young farmers such as Tom Pemberton and Kaleb Cooper, with the latter creating his own award for young people to enter.
