1800 and 2800 E Series
The E Series compact tractors range from 34.5 to 57.3 engine horsepower and feature dependable Iseki® diesel engines, significant hydraulic capacity and the bold new styling seen across the Massey Ferguson tractor line.
Designed for heavy-duty jobs and tough applications, the E Series tractors are equipped with a cast steel rear end and cast front axle, 4-wheel drive, and high-capacity hydraulics, providing the weight, muscle, and traction necessary to handle demanding tasks. The range is suitable for property owners, livestock producers, landscapers, small farms,
municipalities, and commercial contractors, as they can be equipped with a broad range of implements and attachments, making them a versatile and economical choice.
"Not only are the E Series tractors powerful and user-friendly, but they also come at an accessible price point that is sure to appeal to customers looking for cost-effective solutions." says Elliot Cook, Product Manager for Low Horsepower Tractors in ANZ.
"Plus, these robust and dependable workhorses offer a range of capabilities that are typically associated with larger-horsepower utility tractors, making them an excellent choice for heavy-duty applications."
The 1835E and 1840E models feature turbocharged 1.83-litre, 3-cylinder engines that provide 34.5 and 39.4 engine horsepower, respectively. The larger-chassis 2850E and 2860E models are each equipped with a brawny 2.43-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, delivering 48.8 and 57.3 engine horsepower. Liquid-cooled for increased durability, the clean-burning Iseki engines meet final Tier IV emissions standards and can be found in specialized equipment used worldwide in a broad range of demanding ag, turf, and commercial applications.
“The E Series tractors are designed to provide significant advantages thanks to their rugged Iseki diesel engines. These engines deliver outstanding fuel efficiency, tremendous power, and torque, as well as reliability. Additionally, the ease of servicing and maintaining these tractors ensures that they remain efficient and dependable throughout their lifetime” Elliot notes.
The new E Series compact tractors offers significant hydraulic capacity thanks to the dual-pump high-flow system that provides more responsive power at low engine speeds. All E Series models feature an open station with a wide, uncluttered platform, offering ample room and comfort for the operator, and all controls are logically arranged and easy to understand.
The E Series compact tractors feature a fresh new design, reflecting the look of larger Massey Ferguson utility and high horsepower tractors. Operators can still count on the solid metal hood and fenders, which are stronger and less susceptible to damage than plastic hoods found on other compact tractors.
The E Series compacts come with 3-range hydrostatic transmission. The 1800E models offer a Category I rear 3-point hitch, while the 2800E models are equipped with a Cat. I/II 3-point hitch with up to 1100kg lift capacity, providing compatibility with a range of implements, including the Massey Ferguson FL Series front loaders and CB backhoes, depending on the model. Third-function loader control enables the use of a wide array of front attachments, such as a 4-in-1 bucket. A 540-rpm rear PTO is standard.
1800 and 2800 M Series
Four models ranging from 35 to 60 engine horsepower. These new 4-wheel-drive tractors build on Massey Ferguson’s reputation for nimble, versatile, and reliable performance with new, advanced Iseki® engines, as well as comfort and convenience enhancements. The new 1800M and 2800M Series are offered in both factory-installed cab and open-station ROPS models.
The 1800 M Series tractors feature 1.83-litre, 3-cylinder Iseki diesel engines and are available in two models with 35 or 40 engine horsepower. The 2800M Series offers two 2.43-litre, 4-cylinder Iseki-powered models, from 48.8 to 60.3 engine horsepower. These engines are turbocharged for responsive power and liquid-cooled for increased durability.
Clean-burning Iseki engines meet Tier IV emissions standards and can be found in specialized equipment used worldwide in a broad range of demanding ag, turf and commercial applications.
The new M Series compact tractors also benefit from a fresh design approach, reflecting the look of larger Massey Ferguson utility and high horsepower tractors. Operators can still count on the solid metal hood and fenders, which are stronger and less susceptible to damage than plastic hoods found on other compact tractors.
Smooth hydrostatic transmission
The M Series premium compacts are standard-equipped with 3-range hydrostatic transmission. Simple, intuitive, and easy to operate, it allows the operator to reach the speed needed for the job within each range without shifting gears. Dual foot-pedal controls make for quick and easy forward/reverse direction changes. Cruise control allows operators to set and maintain their preferred working or transport speed.
Premium comfort, convenience, and control
The M Series compact tractors are available in both cab and open-station configurations. Along with tilt-steering and a flat, unobstructed platform, the open-station ROPS models now come with a new premium seat, providing greater support and comfort, which operators appreciate when working in rough conditions or over uneven terrain. A new thumb-controlled throttle ― also available on cab models ― lets operators quickly dial in the right engine rpm.
The standard cab models feature dual lockable, entry/exit doors, tilt steering and heating/air conditioning.
