MF SB 1842S balers benefit from many design improvements which increase capacity by up to 20% over the MF SB 1840. All key elements of the MF 1842S are developed to ensure high productivity, including the heavy-duty pick-up, the high capacity feeding chute, dual feeding forks, and a larger preforming chamber. Performance is also guaranteed with lower fuel consumption and reduced downtime.

The unique in-line layout means the baler runs in-line directly behind the tractor for unrivalled convenience and field working efficiency. The crop travels in a straight line from the time it enters the pick-up until it drops out of the back as a finished bale. In addition it improves weight distribution and reduces ground compaction.

For a superb bale shape in all conditions and to maintain consistent density, the OptiForm bale chamber is 2100mm long - an increase of 5% over the MF 1840, and it is equipped with adjustable bale chamber resistance doors. The standard hydraulic bale density system applies pressure to both the upper and lower rails. It automatically adapts to crop conditions to produce bales of consistent weight.
