Massey Ferguson SimplEbale Now Available Through Local Dealers

Massey Ferguson’s SimplEbale retrofittable baler upgrade is now available through its local dealership network for Massey Ferguson 1800 Series small square balers. SimplEbale delivers improved bale consistency, increased operational efficiency, and higher reliability than non-equipped balers.

DULUTH, GA | JANUARY 29, 2024 | AGCO Corporation (NYSE: AGCO), a global leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of agricultural machinery and precision ag technology, announced today that its SimplEbale™ baler upgrade system is now available through local Massey Ferguson dealers. The retrofittable system provides small square balers with features normally only found on large square balers such as flake count, bale length, hydraulic control, moisture sensing and bale weight measurement to the small square baler platform. Balers upgraded with SimplEbale deliver improved bale consistency, increased operational efficiency, and higher reliability than non-equipped balers.

The first kits released to the market configure with the Massey Ferguson 1840 two-tie and 1844S three-tie small square balers for better monitoring, control, and feedback from the seat of the tractor for both skilled and inexperienced operators.  The retrofit kit for the 1842S two-tie baler will be available to order this fall.

SimplEbale offers a significant business opportunity for operations to upgrade their new and used balers, turning inexperienced baler operators into top-notch operators and allowing highly skilled operator to worry about less. Blake Harrison, of Someday Farms in Arizona, says, “An auto-weight system has been on our wish list for some time and SimplEbale was amazing. It kept the bale weight within 3 to 4 pounds variability. Our driver was excited because he didn’t have to adjust anything; it made a long day into a much easier day.” Other customers also testified to the consistency SimplEbale brings to an otherwise difficult job. Jake Downs, of Tom Downs Farms in Quincy, Washington, mentioned that “people might say they don’t want it or need it, but once they start using it, they’ll realize it’s superior. SimplEbale just makes producing small square bales easier.”

Growers can view SimplEbale-equipped balers at AGCO’s exhibits at World Ag Expo in Tulare, California, and National Farm Machinery Show (booth #7801) in Louisville, Kentucky, this February, or contact your local Massey Ferguson dealer for more information.
