Higher operating speeds are possible with the MF cam-less pick-up design. With fewer moving parts, the cam-less pick-up is quieter, simpler and more reliable. Low maintenance and less adjustments save time and increase productivity.

When looking at the RB Series pickup, you’ll notice offset tines on the ends. This allows the pickup to continually and consistently feed the crop flow augers, giving you square, shouldered bales.

The tine is longer, thicker and more flexible for increased lifespan. Improved tine fixation also helps prevent tine breakage, because the tension within the material is more evenly spread.

The constant pressure system ensures an equally dense bale throughout, and four continuous belts provide maximum traction while the bale forms, creating the chamber.

The mechanical tailgate locking system ensures that the tailgate remains completely closed throughout the baling process, giving you consistently sized bales with little crop loss.

The split power main drive distributes power evenly. Main PTO gearbox splits power to both sides of the baler to drive the components, allowing power transfer with less maintenance.

The Easy Load System, or ELS, allows easier loading of the net roll. After loading, the new net roll is simply tipped backward, then lifted and locked into position. It makes the process simple, saving you time and effort.

High resolution touchscreen control allows the operator to monitor and control the baling process with intuitive functions (bale pressure, field selection, size adjustment, etc.)

The HydroFlex Drop Floor features heavy mechanical springs that allow the knife bed to float open slightly when an obstruction occurs. If the rotor is plugged, the operator can hydraulically drop the floor from the tractor cab to clear the plug.

The first stage of HydroFlex™ Control allows movement of the front part of the feed chamber floor and will automatically prevent up to 80% of potential blockages to avoid unnecessary downtime.

Should a major blockage occur, stage two of HydroFlex Control is activated by the operator and is cleared by lowering the rear of the feed table floor hydraulically from the cab, allowing for material to easily pass through.

Designed for optimum performance, Massey Ferguson Xtracut can be equipped with 17 or 25 knives. Cutter units are fitted with the longest knives on the market, making sure that no material will pass through uncut.

Xtracut 17 and 25 feature two sets of hydraulically operated knife banks with separate control from the cab depending on customer requirements. The operator can select: a single knife bank, both knife banks or disengagement of all knives.
