Sowing Good Deeds

Congratulations to our 2023 Winner: Gunnison Cattlemen’s Days Rodeo

Gunnison Cattlemen’s Days Rodeo’s fundraising efforts for Tough Enough to Wear Pink and other charitable work exemplifies what we look for each year in our Sowing Good Deeds™ winner. Cattlemen’s Days is the number one fundraising rodeo in the nation for breast cancer awareness. In 2023, the group raised more than $1 million for its initiative, and since 2005, it has brought in more than $5.1 million. Most notably, the money they raise stays local, helping people with all forms of cancer receive the care, treatments and support they need. Their committee members, volunteers and rodeo athletes annually contribute to this great cause and sow good deeds throughout the Gunnison community.

About The Contest

In recognition of the support that PRCA-sanctioned rodeos contribute to local, regional and national charities, Hesston by Massey Ferguson presents the Sowing Good Deeds contest. The contest is a chance to share the stories of rodeo teams across the country who are doing good in their communities.

Each year, five finalists are selected from dozens of nominations, where one rodeo committee will win a Massey Ferguson® tractor for the great work they do.  The winner is announced during the National Finals Rodeo gala in Las Vegas, Nevada.
