Massey Ferguson Introduces N-Series Split/Narrow Row Planters at Farm Progress Show

New planter lineup delivers practical performance, modular flexibility and an industry-leading total cost of ownership.

BOONE, Iowa, | September 2, 2026 | Massey Ferguson® introduced its new N-Series Split/Narrow Row Planters at the 2026 Farm Progress Show. The new lineup combines factory-installed Precision Planting® technology with a highly modular design to deliver a straightforward solution for split- and narrow-row operations. Available in six configurations — 23-15, 24-15, 31-15, 32-15, 24-20 and 24-22 — the N-Series gives producers practical options for a wide range of applications while helping achieve consistent emergence and an industry-leading total cost of ownership.

Built around the way farmers plant, the N-Series combines proven technology with practical, farmer-focused design. From integrated Precision Planting® technology that helps establish a more consistent crop to service-friendly features and a modular platform that adapts as operations evolve, every aspect of the planter was designed to help producers make the most of every planting window while simplifying ownership.

"The N-Series was designed for farmers who want proven technology without unnecessary complexity," said Forrest Francis, tactical marketing manager, planters, Massey Ferguson North America. "It delivers the performance producers need today while giving them the flexibility to adapt as their operation grows. That's how we're helping farmers achieve better — with practical innovation that's straightforward to own, operate and maintain."

Helping Farmers Make the Most of Every Planting Window

Every planting window is an opportunity to establish the crop for the season ahead. Factory-installed Precision Planting 20|20 Gen3®, vSet2®, vDrive® and DeltaForce® technologies work together to promote accurate seed placement, consistent planting depth and uniform emergence. By maintaining consistent performance as field conditions change, the integrated system helps give every seed the ideal opportunity to emerge uniformly and reach its yield potential — without adding unnecessary complexity for the operator.

Just as important, the N-Series was built to deliver practical value for farmers. With twin 45-bushel central seed tanks, up to 500 gallons of optional liquid fertilizer capacity and an optional in-cab manual weight transfer system, it offers the capacity most growers need to stay productive while maintaining a lightweight, cost-effective design that is easy to operate. A large service platform with a center walkway, organized hydraulic routings, protected hardlines and convenient hose storage simplify routine maintenance, helping keep the planter in the field when timing matters most.

Designed for Long-Term Value

An industry-leading total cost of ownership starts with a planter built to perform season after season. The N-Series features durable Heads Up™ row units with reinforced cast components, greaseless operation and straightforward adjustments to reduce routine maintenance and simplify service. Protected hydraulic routings, hardlines and integrated hose storage help safeguard critical systems while making the planter easier to maintain. Combined with lower maintenance requirements, no subscriptions or unlocks and proven yield-enhancing technology, the N-Series helps producers maximize return on investment while reducing the complexity often associated with adopting new equipment. The result is a planter designed to deliver dependable performance today and long-term value for the life of the operation.

Built to Grow Alongside the Operation

Technology investments should continue delivering value long after the first season. That's why the N-Series was engineered around a highly modular platform that grows alongside the operation. Producers can add WaveVision®, SpeedTube®, CleanSweep®, EMHD® and Pump Stack technologies as operational needs evolve, expanding capability while minimizing future upgrade costs and downtime.
