More young Africans will be looking at a future in farming thanks to a catchy new song - ‘Youth in Agriculture’, written and performed by the MEGA Fame Foundation from Ghana.

The song also features in a striking and lively music video that made its debut to an enthusiastic audience at the 2nd AGCO Africa Summit in Berlin in January. Filmed with full support and resources of Massey Ferguson’s Audio Visual team at AGCO’s Model Farm near Lusaka, Zambia, it shows the band performing with help from young farm staff and village children.

The catchy tune and memorable lyrics aim to convey the Youth in Agriculture message that that a country’s health and development largely depend on farming and by taking an active role in farming young Africans can help in the fight against hunger. Massey Ferguson, which has been at the forefront of African farming developments for many generations, shares the same principles, and is proud to support the MEGA Fame Foundation.
