Sivertsen A/S to take over MASSEY FERGUSON distribution in central and southern Zealand, Lolland-Falster and Bornholm.
It is well known that AGCO, as part of its Farmer First strategy, wants the distribution of its brands: Fendt, Valtra and Massey Ferguson divided with a more targeted focus that can service the future demands of agriculture.
We are therefore pleased to announce that Sivertsen A/S and Massey Ferguson have come to an agreement for the brand’s distribution in the area south of Roskilde, West and South Zealand, Lolland-Falster and Bornholm from August 1, 2024. Sivertsen A/S will provide dealership activities for Massey Ferguson in the region currently serviced by Karl Mertz. This transition to Massey Ferguson aligns perfectly with Sivertsen A/S's growth ambitions and the optimisation of its brand portfolio within its service area.
"We are delighted to partner with a renowned brand like Massey Ferguson," says Bjarne Obel, Head of Sales at Sivertsen A/S. It is a fantastic brand with a comprehensive portfolio of professional tractors and agricultural machinery, allowing us to serve our customers in all their agricultural activities in the best possible way."
In Sivertsen A/S, Massey Ferguson gains a dealer with highly motivated and dedicated employees. The company has built an excellent reputation for its high level of service, provided by a highly trained team of technicians and specialists who ensure outstanding customer care and maintenance of agricultural machinery.
While most service and sales activities will initially be conducted from the Dealer Excellence Centre in Roskilde, Sivertsen A/S will also represent the Massey Ferguson brand from multiple locations elsewhere within the territory in the near future. This will enable local operations to better serve customers, with additional support through well-equipped service vans.
Massey Ferguson
"Massey Ferguson is pleased to announce Sivertsen A/S as its new dealer. Sivertsen A/S is a perfect addition to our dealer network, and we look forward to a successful partnership with the company. We are confident that this collaboration will lead to even better support and satisfaction for our customers in this region,” says Jens Christian Otte, Brand Manager, Massey Ferguson. “Sivertsen will take over the entire Full-line range of Massey Ferguson, from the distribution of the newly launched MF 9S large tractor to the complete harvesting and grass program, including combines and Massey Ferguson square balers produced at the Hesston factory in the USA."
This new agreement also means that Massey Ferguson and Karl Mertz are parting ways after many years of cooperation. Karl Mertz will continue to focus fully on the sales and servicing of Fendt and Valtra in the area, although current Massey Ferguson customers can still get their machines serviced by the dealer until the current contract expires.
