• 3 function ‘Pedal Mode’ automatically adjusts engine speed and ground speed as one
• Standard left-hand Power Control lever for seamless forward and reverse shuttling can also be used as an alternative control for speed adjustment.
• Unique engine ‘Supervisor’ automatically adjusts transmission ratio to maintain power and traction when engine speed falls under load.
Dyna-Step™ Transmission
The Dyna-Step™ transmission shifts smoother then anything you’ve experienced in past powershifts. This transmission features 3 ranges, a field range, transport range and creeper range. With 21 forward speeds in each range, achieving your desired speed is easy to do.
• The 8400 series, like all other high horsepower Massey Ferguson tractors allow you to shift with both the joystick in the armrest and the shuttle lever.
• The Dyna-Step™ Transmission features no clutch packs.
