Knotters
Models 2190 and 2170 have six knotters while Model 2150 has four knotters. The unique double knotter system prevents tension from being put on the twine or knotter until the second knot is tied. Twine is fed from the top and the bottom of the bale to achieve this effect. When the bale begins a knot is tied to connect two ends of twine. The twine moves with the bale instead of forming the bale with the twine under high tension which can cause twine breakage.

After the desired bale length has been reached, the second knot is tied to finish the bale. The knotter fan has been improved to move more debris from the knotters which can cause mis-ties. The fan is automatically lubricated from a reservoir on the baler, and with new onboard hydraulics the knotter lube and fan do not need the tractor hydraulics to run. |
