Knotters
The 2050 large square baler has four knotters to tie it all up. The unique double knotter system prevents tension from being put on the twine or knotter until the second knot is tied. Twine is fed from the top and the bottom of the bale to achieve this effect. When the bale begins a knot is tied to connect two ends of twine. The twine moves with the bale instead of forming the bale with the twine under high tension which can cause twine breakage.

After the desired bale length has been reached a knot is tied to finish the bale. At the same time, a second knot is tied for the start of the next bale. The knotter fan moves debris from the knotters which can cause mis-ties.
