Pre-Forming Chamber

The pre-forming chamber is located just behind the pickup allowing for hay to be continually fed into the chamber. While the plunger is in its back stroke, a set of stuffer fingers pushes the hay from the pre-forming chamber into the bale chamber in front of the plunger.  The plunger then pushes the flake forward cutting it from the bottom with the plunger knives forming a bale flake.

1) The pre-forming chamber eliminates banana bales in baling conditions that contain light to heavy windrows.

2) Feeding bales to horses and livestock is easier because each flake is the same size.
