Threshing cylinder and concave

• These combines have High Inertia threshing cylinders with two speed ranges. The High Inertia cylinder smoothes out peak loads and maintains a constant cylinder speed for more efficient threshing.
• The heavy cast-iron threshing cylinder is more than twice the weight of a competitor’s conventional cylinder which uses lighter spiders of pressed steel.
• Two types of concave available – narrow-spaced for threshing grain crops and harvesting beans and peas, and the larger diameter wide- spaced version for maize and wheat.
• In rice, the peg tooth cylinder and concave is fitted as part of the rice kit which can also include hardened auger flights for longevity.

Grain tanks

• The very large grain tank capacities of 5000 litres (MF 5650) and 4500 litres (MF 3640) means fewer unloading stops
• There are fast unloading times – MF 5650 unloads in 116 seconds and 3640 in 104 seconds using a fully-adjustable unloading tube. Less time unloading  - more time harvesting increasing productivity.

Operator Environment

• Comfortable operator’s environment with optimum view of the cutter bar – guarantees an accurate cut and makes the machine very safe and easy to manoeuvre
• Choice of cab with optional air condtionong or open platform

Wheels and Tyres

• There are a wide selection of wheels and tyres to suit any application. Optional dual wheels are available for higher floatation in softer soil conditions.
• Tracks are an option and easily fitted. They are available with 6 or 7 rollers and 640 or 800 mm shoes. Due to their high flotation, track marks are kept to a minimum – extremely valuable for re-sprout harvests or no-till conditions

Cleaning system

• Long-life, modern-design cleaning system – keeps grain losses to a minimum increasing productivity * The MF 3640 and MF 5650 use sieves mounted with bearings to improve the machines’ balance – these bearings are very low maintenance and a proven long service life
• The fan is equipped with turbine-type blades and the air stream direction can be adjusted for varying conditions
• Advanced straw walker design –enhances straw flow and creates intense straw agitation to boost grain separation

Automatic header controls

• No need to adjust the header manually – the automatic header controls allow a low cut under all terrain conditions and guarantee a uniform and continuous feed

• Functions include:

CHC (cutting height control) – adjusts the header position to enable a constant pre-determined cutting height from soil

AUTOLEVEL (self-levelling header) – adjusts continuously and automatically the levelling of the pre-adjusted cutting height

THC (header height control) – sets the table automatically to a pre-determined height for harvests in which the cut is carried out without soil contact
