From landscaping to hay harvesting to rotary cutting to loading, MF 400 Series tractors are built to take on a wide variety of tasks for your operation. 

With several transmissions available, you can tailor your tractor to the jobs at hand. 

Shuttle transmissions for loader work, Optional Creeper transmissions* for sub-mile per hour speeds, and standard shift transmissions for any application imaginable.

* 8F x 2R Transmission

  • The 8F x 2R transmission is a sliding gear transmission with 2 slow gears, 4 working range gears, and 2 transport gears
  • Standard on the MF431 & 451 as well as the Platform MF 471 & 481

* 8F x 8R Shuttle Transmission

  • The 8F x 8R synchronized shuttle transmission is a great transmission to have for loader work.  On-the-go shifting improves cycle times and allows you to get more done during the workday.
  • Standard on the MF 461
  • Optional on the MF 451, 471 & 481

* 12F x 4R Partially Synchronized Transmission

  • The 12F x 4R partially synchronized transmission is synchronized between 2nd and 3rdgear and between slow and fast.
  • Standard on the Cab and Platform MF491 & 492
  • Optional on the Cab MF471 & 481
