Model 5130 Hesston Series Heavy-Duty Wheel Rake
The Massey Ferguson Model 5130 Hesston Series Heavy-Duty Wheel Rake gives you total control of all functions without ever leaving the tractor seat. Fingertip control, via a cab-mounted control box and a bank of electro-hydraulic valves, allows the operator to adjust rake beam tilt up to 10 degrees; raise and lower the rake wheels; windrow width adjustment up to 72 inches, and fold the rake to a transport width of 12 feet, 3 inches.
A total of 17 wheels and an offset on the right rake beam offer a clean sweep up to 30.3 feet without the need for a center kicker wheel. Standard heavy duty amenities include limited-oscillation offset tandem wheels; large, 60-inch diameter rake wheels with poly wind panels; cast rake wheel hubs with tapered roller bearings; individual spring suspension on each rake wheel, and a walking beam rear axle.

- Walking beam rear axles and tandem wheels provide more stability over rough ground and limited oscillation.
- The large 60-inch (1,524 mm) diameter rake wheels are each equipped with 36 rubber-mounted rake teeth for a cleaner job of raking.
- Wheel hubs are cast iron, for longer life than steel plate with anti-wrap guard.
- Each rake wheel has its own torsional dampening spring, so it floats independently. Plus, the amount of ground pressure on the rake wheels is adjustable.
