A practical solution for mixed farms, the ACTIVA S range provides straightforward specification choices, simplicity of operation and class-leading driver comfort.
The MF ACTIVA S models are real all-rounders and offer a practical choice for mixed crops. Capable of handling the most demanding harvests and built to high standards, the 5-walker MF 7345S and 6-walker MF 7347S feature AGCO SISU POWER Selective Catalytic Reduction Generation 2 engines and can be fitted with MF’s renowned PowerFlow table. For further flexibility, depending on whether you work in generally dry or wet conditions, the ACTIVA S is offered in two versions – equipped with conventional elevator and cylinder concave or with the addition of a secondary separation device incorporating a Multi-Crop Separator and Power Feed Roller. Cab interiors are big on comfort and feature multi-adjustable air suspension seat with integrated armrest and controls. The 8600 litre grain tanks - with electronically-folding covers – ensure even longer cutting time. All in all, you will find the MF ACTIVA S extremely flexible and a safe investment for your harvest needs.
Befitting the capacity and performance of the MF ACTIVA S, the cab provides operators with the utmost comfort and ease of control. Air-conditioning and heater are standard. The air-suspended seat is fitted with an armrest and console which includes the Multi-Function Lever control system, along with a cluster of rocker switches for the most commonly used functions, including threshing system engagement. It also features the control for opening and closing the grain tank covers. There is also a seat for an instructor. All combine settings are displayed on the AGRITRONIC Plus information and control system including the concave front- and rear-opening adjustments. This comprehensive system can be used for example, to monitor the drum or fan speed, cutting height and grain losses. Operators have a clear view into the grain tank through a large glass rear window which provides a quick and easy check of the sample quality. The spacious cab, which offers excellent visibility through a wide screen, is fitted with a superb array of lighting including six top-positioned working lights, all adjustable and equipped with reliable and powerful H9 bulbs. Lower down are two low-beam and two high-beam headlamps as well as two further working lights.

Equipped with a robust, high-inertia 600mm diameter cylinder and a heavy-duty concave, the ACTIVA S models can effectively thresh the majority of crops with ease. The threshing drum has added weight in the form of ballast bars to increase the weight behind the rasp bars as they thresh the heads. This reduces load on the drives and cuts down power requirement and fuel consumption. The concave has differentiated wire spacing which provides the optimum balance between high threshing capacity and good grain flow through the concave. Independent adjustment of the front and rear of the concave is via electric controls in the cab. This makes it possible for the operator to set the concave to the optimum position to suit the conditions, or to work with the concave in the parallel position when required. Once through the cylinder, customers have a choice of how to further separate the crop starting with the straightforward addition of the Active Beater Concave (ABC) - providing 14 degrees of additional concave wrap. Those requiring more versatility can select the Multi-Crop Separator (MCS) with Power Feed Roller which provides the best separation while remaining gentle on straw. MCS employs an additional rotary separator element which has the unique ability to rotate the concave completely out of work when it is not needed. This increases harvesting flexibility and improves grain sample, particularly in dry conditions and when operating in brittle straw. The Power Feed Roller is fitted at the bottom of the crop elevator and presents an even feed to the cylinder.

FreeFlowFreeFlow cutting tables are designed for harvesting a wide variety of crops. The table consists of a welded frame to which bolt-on panels are mounted. As a result, these panels – such as the table bottom plates - can be easily replaced if required. The crop is cut by a high performance (1254 strokes per minute) Schumacher knife and gearbox. It then feeds into a large 610mm diameter table auger that has feathering fingers along its entire length. These ensure even distribution of the crop as it is fed into the main crop elevator. All the table and reel adjustments are made using the Multifunction control lever in the cab. AutoLevel and automatic cutting height control are standard on all machines to optimise table performance on a variety of terrain. Lifters can be fitted and, to keep turnaround time to a minimum, a multi-coupler is fitted as standard. Table widths available from 4.8m-7.6m. PowerFlowCrops like rape, peas and rye can be as difficult to harvest as laid wheat and barley. With the PowerFlow table, these problems are solved thanks to its renowned continuous belt feed which gathers crop, reduce losses and presents an even ‘heads-first’ crop flow. Tests have shown that output can be increased by up to 73% in difficult conditions with PowerFlow A high-capacity rape auger can be specified as an option to provide extra output in tall crops. Table widths available from 5.5m–6.2m

MF ACTIVA S combines are powered by the latest generation Stage IIIB AGCO SISU POWER engines with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) and DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst). These electronically-controlled engines deliver the power needed for consistent and efficient harvesting in all conditions. The benefit is approximately 10% less fuel consumption compared to previous versions plus the confidence that the engines are working as environmentally-friendly as possible within the regulations. As with other similar systems, these SCR engines require the use of AdBlue Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) which is placed in a separate 80 litre tank next to the main fuel tank.
