The MF 555 is designed for easy every day use.

Frame

The strong welded construction ensures the planter has a long machine and service life, while the robust 180 x 180 mm frame has the strength to meet the demands of the toughest field condition.

Capable of handling the full spectrum of planting regimes from Conventional through to No-Till, with the flexibility to accommodate both present and future tillage practices, the MF 555 has a seed transmission offering up to 32 different settings to ensure a wide range of population rates.

It is available in Rigid (Trailed Single Bar), Hyd (Trailed Vertical Fold), Forward Fold, Horizontal Wing Fold and Mounted Toolbar Rigid versions.

Row Unit

This industry leading MF 555 Row Unit features PAM™ Positive Air Metering system, heavy-duty gauge wheels with moulded covers, double disc openers and high rate Seed Smart™ sensors.

The walking beam gauge wheel design can handle obstacles up to 50 mm high, and there is a choice of closing wheel options.

A high capacity 70-litre seed hopper is available with the option of a 105-litre hopper.

Seed Metering

Unequalled planting accuracy and gentle seed handling is achieved through the proven PAM™ Positive Air Metering system.

The exclusive ‘edge drop’ design of the seed disc gently releases the seed giving unmatched spacing accuracy.

The open frame on the MF 555 provides unrestricted access to the low maintenance seed disc, which can be, removed simply using one knob. The see hopper does not need to be removed to change the seed disc.

Fertiliser & Chemical Options

Choice of dry granular or liquid fertiliser.
Choose from 3 coulter types to apply liquid of granular fertilisers with pinpoint accuracy.
Large capacity granular fertiliser hoppers, offering up to 84 application rates.
Liquid fertiliser tanks available in 567 or 756 litre capacity.
Choice of roller or piston pump.

Monitoring

High rate or Seed SmartTM seed sensors in the seed metering unit track seed flow and population, with a choice of SM100, SM300 or SM400SE seed monitors.

On selected models, the MF 555 may be equipped with Fieldstar Precision Farming system.
