MF DELTA 500 hp

The future of farming is here - the Massey Ferguson hybrid combine

Massey Ferguson DELTA - the pursuit of the ideal harvesting machine is over.

Merging conventional and rotary technology, the MF DELTA hybrid combine meets the harvesting demands of large-scale farmers and contractors - reliably, efficiently and with an excellent return on investment.

MF DELTA

The MF DELTA cleverly blends the quality of conventional ‘drum and concave’ threshing with the highest separation capacity of a twin-rotor set-up to produce the outstanding ‘HyPerforma Technology’. Fitted with the latest SCR Generation 2 engine and the high-output PowerFlow table, the MF DELTA has been perfected to satisfy the most demanding needs of professional business farmers. This combine offers exceptional levels of operator comfort and serviceability plus straightforward and efficient ergonomics. The result of intensive engineering development, it provides high productivity in high-yielding crops with minimal losses, unbeatable straw quality and low fuel costs.

Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR)

Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR)

As the World’s first combine harvester with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology, the new MF DELTA sets revolutionary new standards in fuel efficiency.

SCR works with an enhanced, 496hp*, seven cylinder, 9.8 litre AGCO SISU POWER engine. Ultimately this system allows for optimal engine performance and improved fuel efficiency while helping to protect the environment.

The MF DELTA combine meets future emissions regulations, even before compliance becomes mandatory.

Threshing & Separating

Threshing & Separating

A finely-tuned combination of precision engineering and proven technology.

The MF DELTA is the only true Hi-Inertia threshing system on the market. It maintains crop feed, boosts performance and guarantees fuel efficiency without loss of output.

A unique ledger plate tapers the crop flow as it feeds into the threshing system, reducing power and fuel consumption. The crop is pre-threshed in order to maximise grain separation and achieve exceptional grain samples. The unique loading bay is a wide inlet area into the Rotor Feeder to maximise material throughput and efficiency, allowing for smooth crop transition at high capacity. Once complete, the two Hi-Separation rotors push the crop evenly along the rotor. Spiral separation tines further enhance crop movement, ensuring exceptionally clean, highly-productive grain separation.

HyPerforma
Hi-Inertia Threshing System + Hi-Performance Concave + Rotor Feeder + Hi-Separation Rotors = HyPerforma Technology. This system has been specifically designed and developed to give an exceptionally clean grain sample and the highest- quality straw for baling. Large 5.44m² total separation area

Powerflow

Powerflow

The PowerFlow header maximizes output in all crop conditions.

Its lightweight frame construction prevents bending, giving an even stubble height. The even, head-first feed produces a better sample and higher output as a result of more efficient threshing and increased separation.

An optional Rape Auger increases the machine’s capacity in difficult conditions, allowing the combine to travel at a faster forward speed for a greater throughput.

Cleaning System

Cleaning System

Making the most of airflow dynamics

The Venturi Cleaning System increases airflow pressure in the centre of the cleaning system to produce a cleaner grain sample, increased output and productivity.

The innovative design of the fan housing’s walls allows the fan to draw air from the outside. This additional air is drawn from underneath the fan housing in between the two fans, thus creating even pressure of airflow across the width of the sieves. This, in turn, makes wider sieve openings possible which enhances throughput but still produces a good grain sample.

Straw Chopper has a rotor diameter of 200mm incorporating 108 knives to ensure a perfect chop for min-till operations.

100% in, 100% out

The MF DELTA’s straw chopper has a rotor diameter of 200mm incorporating 108 knives to ensure a perfect chop for min-till operations.

The optional Maxi-Spreader spreads a very even material thickness over the full cutting width of the 9.1m (30ft) PowerFlow header.

SCR engines - useable power with low fuel consumption

As the world’s first combine harvester with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology, the MF DELTA set revolutionary new standards in fuel efficiency. Fitted with the latest 7-cylinder 9.8 litre AGCO SISU POWER SCR Generation 2 engine with DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst), this electronically-controlled unit brings the combine in line with modern emissions requirements whilst delivering the power needed for consistent and efficient harvesting in all conditions. As with other similar systems, these SCR engines require the use of AdBlue Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) which is placed in a separate tank next to the main fuel tank.
