MF 7495 Dyna-VT - The most economical tractor!
Published date September 01, 2009
Thanks to its ultra-efficient 6.6 Litre AGCO SISU POWER engine and technically advanced ‘Dyna-VT’ transmission, the MF 7495 came out on top in a fuel consumption test, recently carried out by the European ‘Traktor Power Magazine’.
The objective was to compare the fuel efficiency of 180hp tractors in a working test. Each tractor had to complete 3 individual categories:
1. Transport test – Drive tractor without implement @ 40 kph
2. Transport test – Haul 18T trailer @ 40 kph
3. Field test – Operate 6M cultivator @ 10cm working depth for an hour
The result of all three tests showed that the MF 7495 had beaten its major rivals, New Holland and Case hands down, consuming a mere 18.7 litres of fuel per hour on average, compared to New Holland’s T7040 (21 litres/hour) and Case’s IH Puma 155 (21.7 litres/hour).
This meant that the Massey Ferguson 7495, was 12% more fuel efficient than the New Holland T7040 and 16% more economical than the Case IH Puma 155, making it the no.1 choice for professional farmers and contractors as a means to minimising operational costs and maximising their bottom line.
