Massey Ferguson’s OptiRide Plus cab suspension system fitted to all Excellence specification models in the MF 8600 Series tractor range was honoured with a Gold Medal for Innovation at a special presentation ceremony on the first day of the SIMA Show in Paris on 22 February.
According to the expert judges the OptiRide Plus system - one of only three innovations out of 154 entries to receive the prestigious Gold Medal at SIMA - represents ‘a significant step forward in driver comfort.’
Laurent Blin, who developed the system, says operator comfort is a key component in extracting optimum productivity from the MF 8600 Series tractor. OptiRide Plus can provide up to 25% improvement in comfort compared to the standard system - once again confirming Massey Ferguson’s position as the leader in advanced cab design and technology.
